The Adventure

December 9th - 11th, 2024

Day 1 – Arrive & Prepare

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Quito around midday and set off on our journey to the foot of the majestic Cotopaxi Volcano. Once we arrive, we’ll take a scenic 40-minute trek (approx. 800 meters) to reach the base camp. Here, we’ll settle in, enjoy a delicious dinner, and prepare our minds and bodies for the adventure ahead. This is your time to relax, connect, and focus.

Day 2 – Ascent to the Summit

Our journey begins in the early morning hours at 1:00 AM, under a sky filled with stars. We’ll climb through the night, aiming to reach the summit of Cotopaxi just in time to witness a breathtaking sunrise from the top of one of the highest active volcanoes in the world. The climb is about 8 km (5 hours), and the reward at the summit is unlike anything else—stunning views, a sense of accomplishment, and a special moment to celebrate with a brief ceremony.

After capturing the beauty of the summit with photos and memories, we’ll begin our descent back to base camp (approx. 3 hours), where a well-deserved breakfast will be waiting for us. From there, we’ll make our way back to Quito, fulfilled and transformed.
